The joy of plot bunnies

I tried to go to bed almost an hour ago, but snuggling under my duvet was interrupted by the sudden arrival of a plot bunny. Eventually I had to pick my laptop up and start writing it down and doing preliminary research.

Well, we'll see how I feel in the morning, but I really like this bunny. I've been a bit antsy lately, wanting to write something a bit plottier, with new characters, something that took a while to develop and had more complex threads. Most of the things I've been writing recently have been one-shots - and that format is fine, and I love it, but occasionally I just want to stretch myself a little bit?

Anyway, I am giving NOTHING away yet - like I said, this may all look ghastly in the morning - but I'm excited. :D
